John Peters brings with him his Hornsby Oil Engine

No 37242 rated at 5HP built by R.Hornsby and Sons Ltd Grantham, England in 1910. Exported to Australia 1911,
this particular Engine spent working life driving water irrigation water pumps plus 20 to 30 sheep shearing units on a working sheep farm.

This engine is part of the industrial revolution, lamp start ignition was only available needing heat to start to create a combustion stroke unlike modern engines today.

Returned in a pile of rusty parts in 1997 and restored by proud owner John Peters back in to the condition when it was new.
