Stagecoach - part of the Vintage Bus Rally

With a greater focus on the environment and many of us thinking about how to reduce our own carbon footprint, 2008 could be the year that more people leave their car behind and walk, cycle or use public transport for at least some of their journeys. Stagecoach will be giving out advice at Wheels 08, plus bringing along a selection of classic buses for you to admire!

Stagecoach has been introducing new, easy access buses across the region over recent years and, with the new buses on the popular Coastliner 700 route, which runs between Portsmouth and Brighton via Littlehampton, has seen a growth in passengers.

To keep all these new bus customers informed and entertained, Coastliner has its very own magazine. The third edition of ‘Coastliners’ magazine, containing lots of information about the route, fares and places to visit along the south coast is available now from bus stations, tourist information centres, holiday parks and buses. There is something for everyone, whether young or old, including a children’s page.

As travelling by bus is so easy and now more entertaining, perhaps it’s time for more of us to do our bit for the environment and leave the car at home and hop on board.

To find out more, pop along to see the Stagecoach team at Wheels 08. They will be with a double decker bus handing out copies of timetables and the Coastliners magazine. Feel free to ask them for personal advice on planning your journey by bus.

Alternatively, click on www.stagecoachbus.com/south or call Traveline on 0871 200 22 33.
