A Sussex-wide partnership has been formed to encourage all drivers to slow down - particularly on roads where people have been killed or injured in accidents.

The Sussex Safer Roads Partnership includes West Sussex County Council, East Sussex County Council, Brighton and Hove City Council, the Highways Agency, Sussex Police and Sussex Magistrates Courts. The scheme will be led by a dedicated project manager.

The Partnership is part of a national government scheme where money collected from speeding and jumping red light fines is reinvested in more safety cameras.
