If you are in the market for something affordable yet stylish, practical yet exciting, then you should make your way to the Richmond Hyundai Stand at Wheels 2010!
RICHMOND has trebled the sale of new cars in the past year with a discount scheme that cuts the list price of vehicles by up to £5,000.
The Richmond chain operates a unique Scrap It Or Trade It scheme which allows every driver to claim huge discounts when they buy new.
Richmond, home of the famous King of Cars, was in the forefront of the Hyundai i10’s astonishing rise to the top of the UK retail sales charts in September 2009.
The award-winning eco-friendly supermini was the biggest selling Scrappage Deal car throughout the Government’s Scrappage Scheme last year.
The i10s older brother the i20 was voted WhatCar Best Scrappage Deal and is still available on a discount scrappage package only from Richmond.
Hyundai grabbed the largest share of the UK market with sensational deals and Richmond – Britain’s No1 Scrappage Dealer – rose through the ranks to become the biggest Hyundai dealer in Europe.
Richmond has continued those discounts long after the Government scheme ended and has expanded the scheme by accepting much newer vehicles.
Drivers of a three-year-old Astra, for example, will get up to £5,000 more than their car is worth when they buy new.
The size of the discount depends on the price of the car they are buying. The allowance on an i10 is £2,000, bringing the price down to from just £5,725 – or from only £99.98 a month on finance.
The allowance on the i20 is also £2,000, bringing the price down to from just £6,995 or from just £119.98 a month on finance.
The i30 allowance is £3,000, which means it costs from just £8,995 or £159.98 a month on finance.
Huge discounts are available on all the Hyundai range, with up to £5,000 off the price of a new Santa Fe 4 x 4.
All Hyundai’s come with a five-year unlimited mileage manufacturer’s warranty which is fully-transferable when you sell the car.
The King of Cars – aka MD Michael Nobes – says: “Our new car sales have gone through the roof and we are finding our customers have never bought a new vehicle before.
“We used to sell 200 cars a month. Last summer we hit 600 for the first time and we have not looked back since.
“When you take the discount and the warranty into account, on top of cheaper running costs and road tax, it can be cheaper to buy a new Hyundai than a two or three-year-old car from one of the older manufacturer’s.
“The problem the older motor manufacturer’s have is that Hyundais are not only cheap and protected with much longer warranties – they’re cool.”
Richmond has Hyundai dealerships in Bognor, Portsmouth and Southampton. The group also has a Citroen dealership in Portsmouth and a Renault Authorized Service Centre in Southampton.
